John Regina handles a wide range of complex commercial, employment, and tort-based litigation, representing both private and public clients. His experience spans high-stakes cases involving construction defects, breach of contract, wrongful death, sexual abuse, and constitutional rights claims. He also regularly advocates for employers before administrative agencies in matters arising under Title VII.

Before joining Shah Law Group, Mr. Regina served as Assistant Section Chief of the Consumer Fraud Prosecution Section at the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office and as a Deputy Attorney General in the Tort Litigation Section. In these roles, he prosecuted consumer fraud cases and defended state agencies against claims involving automotive liability, premises liability, professional malpractice, and constitutional rights violations.

  • Gupta v. L. Wrazen, LLC: Successfully resolved a construction defect and consumer fraud claim in favor of homeowners.
  • Estate of Flores v. Jersey City Board of Education: Obtained a nuisance value settlement in favor of a school district in a wrongful death action stemming from vehicular accident involving a student who cut class.
  • Iannacone v. Hackensack Bd. of Ed.: obtained dismissal of breach of contract action where public employee alleged she was entitled to longevity pay.
  • D.V. v. City of Passaic Board of Education: Obtained a favorable settlement and resolution for a school district in a claim involving allegations of student bullying and an assault on a parent by a student.
